NCA: December 2025 Investment Banking Career Trek to NYC
Northwestern Career Advancement is hosting an Investment Banking Career Trek to New York City on Monday, December 15, Tuesday, December 16th, and Wednesday, December 17th. This Trek is for students who:
- Identify as sophomores
- Plan to actively apply to investment banking internships for their summer 2027 experience as early as winter break 2025/winter quarter 2026
Students should expect to plan arrival to NYC on Sunday, December 14th and NCA staff will guide students through a 3-day experience visiting 7+ investment banks on December 15th, 16th, and 17th. Students will be responsible for arranging their own lodging and transportation to/from NYC unless they have a demonstrated financial need.
NCA wants to ensure that cost is never prohibitive to a student’s career planning. Students with demonstrated financial need may be offered support for travel and lodging. More details will be provided to those students who qualify (see application details below).
To be considered to attend the Trek students should submit:
- A resume (PDF)
- Essay response to the prompt (PDF): Why are you interested in attending the investment banking trek and what do you hope to take away from the experience? (Maximum of 300 words allowed)
- (Optional) OneForm if interested in being considered for financial support for travel/lodging - https://northwestern.academicworks.com/opportunities/2684
Applications should be submitted no later than October 26th midnight (Sunday).

Students will have a variety of opportunities to engage with employers on campus and virtually throughout winter and spring quarters including employer information sessions, coffee chats, career fairs etc. Students are encouraged to indicate their career interests via their Handshake profile to ensure they receive the NCA Finance Newsletter.
