Auction House, Chicago Summer Internship

Hindman Auctions is looking for Undergraduate Summer Interns to participate in our 12-week long rotational Summer Internship Program.

 

As an Intern you will gain first hand experience in the auction industry, with exposure to the consignment process, catalogue production, art handling, and live auctions. Each Intern will rotate between various departments including our Expertise, Business Development, Finance, Marketing and Property teams.

 

Daily tasks may include researching works of art/artists, assisting our photography team, tagging property, registering auction participants, and participating in auction preview exhibitions, as well as auction day logistics.

 

We are looking for candidates studying Art History, Fine Arts or a related topic who are interested in learning about the auction industry. Attention to detail, strong communication skills and enthusiasm for the arts is required.
