Speech Language Pathologist
Spotter Staffing is currently looking for a Speech Language Pathologists interested in working with a mixture of PreK to 5th graders at a great district in the northern suburbs.
Job Details:
School Overview - This position is with a district in the northern suburbs that serve a population that is made of up majority Prek to 5th graders with one middle school.
Diagnosis - Caseloads are made up of about 20 students within a two buildings that are very close to each other. One of the buildings is a PreK to 2nd and the other is 3rd to 5th grade.. Children in this caseload are all general education students needing support with articulation and SLDs.
Age Population - PreK to 5th Grade
COVID - This is a mixed position between remote learning and in person learning. SLPs must be comfortably operating in person however at any time possible, remote learning is the goal.
Reason for opening - This position is open do to an increase in caseloads.
Position Duration - This position is expected to continue through the end of the school year (mid June) and has the opportunity to convert to a district employee in the 2021/2022 school year.
Hours - 8:15am to 3:15pm (1/2 hour unpaid lunch)
Start Date: Immediate pending background screening
Requirements:
1. Must have experience with pediatrics
2. Must have active Illinois License and PEL
3. Must be comfortable working at a school in person
