Development & Production Intern (Virtual)
This internship will involve working closely with Capacitor’s Development & Production team and provide support across the company’s digital, TV, and film projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist with research and evaluation of digital content (e.g., YouTube content)
- Conduct marketplace research; tracking entertainment releases across books, toys, video games, and hobby games
- Track current TV programming, upcoming shows, and animation studios
- Assist with social media growth (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook)
- Work closely with the Development Coordinator and learn about content development process (including writing script coverage as needed)
Internship educational experience to include:
- Producing/maintaining spreadsheets and google docs based on directives and guidance from Capacitor’s full time staff
- Presentation of work, communicated in writing and orally via video conferencing with senior management (including Managing Director, Corporate Development and Managing Director, Content Strategy)
- Regular video conferences with Development Coordinator and Managing Director, Corporate Development to review work product and receive feedback
- Intern will develop:
- Business skills including communication and presentation, organization, and research
- Basic working knowledge of the entertainment content, digital media, and IP licencing industries
- Basic familiarity with content workflow/processes including script and story development, and IP evaluation
