Videographer
Hindman, one of the nation’s leading fine art auction houses, is seeking a freelance Videographer who is knowledgeable on production process and comfortable directing on screen talent. This role is responsible for shooting and editing in-house videos in coordination with the Marketing and Photography teams that will be used for the company’s website and social media accounts. Applicants will be required to provide their own equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Film and edit videos of Specialists and other employees speaking about the objects we sell at auction
- Provide creative ideas and solutions while filming
- Ensure all video content meets the company’s standard for quality and consistency
- Work closely with the photography manager and marketing team to prioritize tasks and ensure completion of projects on schedule
Education and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in video/film production, or 2-3 years of professional experience
- Excellent videography skills including camera operation, lighting and audio capture, and editing skills using Premium Pro or similar software
- Capability to work efficiently and independently, showing initiative and innovation
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic attitude
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Interest in Art and Art History
