CountN is looking for highly motivated individuals to help expand our company’s reach online through weekly blog posts on our website.
We are a New England-based music startup that connects musicians and live music venues. CountN currently works with established venues and hundreds of artists throughout the New England region. Our mission is to use innovative technology to bring quality live music to every local community. We partner with live music venues to ensure that artists have a reliable platform for well-paying gigs, allowing them to share their music and expand their career.
The role of the Music Blogger is to research and write weekly music industry-related blog posts to post on the CountN website and social media.
Essential Functions:
- Researching relevant issues and topics in the music industry.
- Submit weekly drafts to your manager for post approval.
- Perform weekly check-ins and deliver a short summary of progress.
Requirements:
- Developed, professional writing skills (majoring in English Lit is a huge plus!).
- Clear demonstration of tone, opinion, and fluidity in writing.
- A general knowledge of the music industry.
- Highly creative and driven.
- Great verbal and communication skills.
- Open to feedback.
- Ability to hit weekly and monthly goals set by the CountN team.
