Clinical Fellowship- Speech Language Pathologist

PlayWorks Therapy, Inc. is looking for a full-time Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow to provide home-based, school-based, and clinic-based therapy to children birth through twelve years of age. We provide services to both the private market as well as the Illinois Early Intervention program.

Located in Roscoe Village, we are a multi-disciplinary practice that provides developmental therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, feeding therapy, occupational therapy, counseling/social work services, and play groups. Interventions combine aspects of both child-directed and adult-directed therapy models and are cognizant of each child’s global development. We emphasize family participation throughout our therapeutic process and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Speech-Language Pathologist- Clinical Fellow position requirements:
  • Masters Degree from an ASHA accredited program
  • Second year placement pediatric experience preferred
  • Driver's license, personal vehicle with insurance
  • Strong knowledge of child development (specifically experience working children birth to twelve years of age, including both typical and atypical development)
  • Personable and playful personality
  • Sensory and/or oral-motor feeding experience is a plus!
  • Interest in becoming a contributing member of a growing team

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate, establish goals, and provide exceptional evidence-based treatment interventions for children aged birth to twelve
  • Complete timely and accurate documentation
  • Engage in mentorship process in open and collaborative manner
  • Attend monthly team meetings
