Post Production Assistant Intern

CSI Sports is seeking (2) Post-Production Assistant Interns who can assist the production team. These interns, reporting to the Head of production, will utilize expertise with the Adobe Creative Suite to assist editors, the media manager and the Head of Production. 

The Post-Production Assistant is responsible for:

·        Create timelines in Adobe Premiere featuring program footage, b-roll, graphics and interview clips
·        Edit footage according to scripts, formats & production guidelines
·        Create tag pages for promos & assistant in the creation of promos
·        Create graphics for broadcast & digital content
·        Log shows and various media library assets
·        Maintain proper file structure for MAM
·        QC shows before they air to ensure there are no technical/creative issues
·        Deliver the final product to the required specifications
·        Contribute ideas for show elements
·        Support overall production department including the senior and assistant editor
·        Submit copyright claims during CSI Sports Live Events on weekends we have live events
 
Qualifications and Experience

·        Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop)
·        Excellent oral and written communication
·        Excellent organizational skills with an ability to think proactively and prioritize work
·        Ability to conceptualize ideas in a creative, non-traditional way
·        Works well in fast-paced and changing environment
·        Strong computer skills (MS Office, etc.)
·        Capable of handling various responsibilities and multiple projects simultaneously
·        Bachelor’s degree (Communications, TV/Film Production, or related field of study) or equivalent practical experience.
·        Able to work long hours, nights, weekends, etc. as needed
