Production Intern
Production Craft, Inc., a full-service video production company in Chicago, IL is looking for determined interns!
This is an unpaid internship – students seeking internship for credit are preferred but candidates who have recently graduated college would be acceptable as well. Currently, we are looking for interns who are available 2 days a week from 9am-5:30pm. An intern with flexibility in his or her schedule is a plus. We primarily provide interns with mainstream production experience and some insight into post-production.
*All interns should have a willingness to learn and a positive attitude
*All interns must be willing to assist in pre-production, production, and post-production
*All interns must be able to lift at least 35 lbs.
*All interns must have a valid driver’s license, as we sometimes ask him or her to pick up or return equipment, etc.
- If interested in Production, Experience handling production equipment is a plus (this could include working in a broadcast studio or other internships/ jobs)
- Experience in Photoshop a plus but not required
- If interested in Post Production, Experience in Premiere is a plus however, experience in other professional non-linear editing tools are just fine. (Final Cut Pro, Final Cut Pro X, Avid Media Composer)
Interns will report to the Production Manager. The student will have an assigned desk with computer that he or she can report to on the day of the internship. (Contact Internship and Career Advisor to see if position is eligible for academic credit)
