Full-Time Faculty Member
Full-time positions available in piano, violin, and cello. Part-time available in other departments. This position is responsible for teaching private lessons, group classes, and ensembles in the instrument of the faculty member’s specialty, while serving the Conservatory's mission: "Inspiring individuals and communities through exceptional music education, accessible to all." In accordance with this mission, WCM offers a robust merit scholarship and need-based tuition assistance program to qualifying students. The Conservatory runs a biannual community instrument drive and repair fund, which serves students throughout southeastern Wisconsin. Additionally, faculty may teach in the Conservatory Connections program. This program is the primary tool used by the Conservatory to reach underserved populations in southeastern Wisconsin. Many of these students would not have music instruction without dedicated faculty serving in this position.
