Digital Marketing Insights Intern (Summer 2022)

Responsibilities


Looking for a marketing internship this summer? We are looking for an intern to join our Marketing Operations and Technology team. This team provides hands-on experience with marketing technology and provides actionable insights to maximize the effectiveness of Principal’s customer engagement strategy. Through critical partnerships with Marketing, IT, and Business leaders, you will translate marketing goals into a measurement strategy and provide optimization recommendations.

As a Digital Marketing Strategy Intern, you may:
  • Consult with marketing partners to understand business goals and how it connects with enterprise marketing and engagement strategies.
  • Build creative and consistent campaign measurements for Principal’s digital marketing strategy across a multitude of varying platforms.
  • Develop digital marketing best practices and insights to share holistic, cross-campaign lessons learned and analytical highlights ensuring alignment across the businesses.
  • Partner with Marketing, CX, and Business leaders to translate digital strategies into measurable requirements
  • Influence future digital marketing campaigns using compelling data storytelling.
  • Gain hands-on experience working in Principal’s marketing technology stack.

Qualifications


We’re looking for someone with:
  • Working towards or holding a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, management information systems (MIS) or equivalent experience.
  • Must have the ability to take initiative, be a self-starter, collaborate with individuals at all levels, and build relationships.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills demonstrated through formal positions in student organizations, community involvement or employment experiences.
  • 3.0 GPA or higher is strongly preferred.

Location
This internship can be located at onsite at our corporate headquarters in Des Moines, IA or remotely per your preference.
