Marketing Associate
Atlantic Theater Company, the award-winning Off-Broadway theater company and NAST-accredited acting school, seeks a Marketing Associate. This position will work closely with the Director of Marketing and Marketing & Membership Manager to manage and execute marketing campaigns for all Atlantic Theater Company (ATC) productions, and promotional campaigns for all Atlantic Acting School (AAS) training and education programs.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Marketing Director and Marketing & Membership Manager in all marketing and media campaigns for Atlantic Theater Company and Atlantic Acting School.
- Assist in the creation and implementation of digital and print promotional materials for ATC and AAS.
- Manage Atlantic’s mailing lists including single ticket buyers, members, and other supporters.
- Send and manage pre/post-show emails and assist with answering customer service questions via phone and email.
- Produce weekly e-blasts to promote Atlantic’s education programs for adults, kids & teens.
- Track and promote press pieces about Atlantic and its productions, as well as alumni news and successes.
- Maintain the social media platforms and manage ongoing social media campaigns.
- Maintain Atlantic Theater Company and Atlantic Acting School websites including designing digital graphics for the website and social media.
- Identify cross-promotional opportunities to better integrate the Theater and School and promote a cohesive Atlantic brand
- Take an active role in departmental and company-wide diversity, equity, inclusion, and access efforts to build more equitable marketing and outreach strategies and create an open and welcoming space for audiences.
Requirements:
- 0-3 years experience in arts marketing/education or related fields.
- Exceptionally strong organizational and multi-tasking skills and a passion for the arts.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, superior attention to detail, and a personal demeanor to provide exceptional customer service
- A personable, curious, and collaborative work style with a willingness to learn new things.
- Proficiency in Excel/Microsoft Office and Google Suites.
- Experience with OvationTix, Mailchimp, WordPress, and Adobe Suite are a plus.
