Casting Internship

JOB TITLE: Casting Internship- 3 Positions
REPORTS TO: Associate Casting Director/ Special Events Producer
FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt
INTERNSHIP DATES: Mar 13- June 2; May 29- Aug 18; Aug 14- Oct 3
HOURLY RATE: $16/hr

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Applicants must have excellent communication skills and must be highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Assist with scheduling and monitoring auditions.
  • Cover the main casting line and its voicemail.
  • Prepare routine correspondence, including rejection letters and responses to actor inquiries.
  • Maintain casting files.
  • Attend artistic staff meetings.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Eighteen years of age or older and able to take direction and criticism constructively.
  • Strong ability to digest new information quickly and apply it productively.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to multi-task and work independently.
  • Must be comfortable in highly collaborative environments.

TIME COMMITMENT:

30 hours per week to be agreed upon depending on Casting Department needs and the intern's personal schedule.

VACCINE POLICY

The Goodman requires proof of full vaccination including booster. New employees who are not fully vaccinated as of the date of hire are required to be fully vaccinated within 45 days of hire and provide twice-weekly proof of a negative COVID-19 test prior to being fully vaccinated.
