Education Internship

JOB TITLE: Education Internship- 2 Positions
REPORTS TO: Director of Education and Engagement
FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt
INTERNSHIP DATES: June 19- Aug 18
HOURLY RATE: $16/hr

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Summer education interns will provide support for one of two summer youth programs, either PlayBuild Youth Intensive or the Musical Theater Intensive, as well as the cross-generational devising program InterGens. Interns will communicate will students and caregivers, learn from our roster of Teaching Artists, and have opportunities to facilitate activities in the programs. Interns help to track the development of the summer productions and provide all around logistics support.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Eighteen years of age or older and able to take direction and criticism constructively.
• Strong ability to digest new information quickly and apply it productively.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to multi-task and work independently.
• Must be comfortable in highly collaborative environments. 
• Demonstrated Interest and passion for arts education
• Excellent organization and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with Adobe InDesign or other design software a plus
• Education and administration experience also a plus.

TIME COMMITMENT:
Maximum of 30 hours/week; Between Mondays and Saturdays, 8:30am – 6pm; occasional evening and/or weekend assignments. The specific days/hours will be discussed and determined by each department during the interview process.

The Goodman requires proof of full vaccination including booster.
