Marketing Intern - Bethesda - 2023

The successful candidate for the Victor Marketing Intern will be an innovative self-starter with experience in content creation, digital marketing, social media, communications, and go-to-market planning. We are seeking an individual who is passionate about enhancing the customer experience through education, is powered by both creativity and KPIs and has a keen awareness of audience needs. The ideal candidate can seamlessly balance multiple, and often evolving priorities, and can collaborate effectively with the marketing team from strategy to implementation to analysis.

This 9-week summer internship will be based in Bethesda, MD (Remote if neccesary) and will report to the US Head of Marketing for Victor.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with producing compelling copy and creative for email and advertising campaigns, social media posts and other marketing collateral
  • Assist with creation of webinar slide decks (PowerPoint)
  • Support ongoing website management, updating content, imagery and suggesting ideas for improved user experience
  • Participate in marketing brainstorming sessions
  • Carry out competitor research, evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of their websites, products, and services
  • Assist with data analysis and reviewing campaign effectiveness
  • Assist with website Search Engine Optimization and keyword research
  • Present new and innovative ideas to ensure the organization’s marketing strategies are fresh and exciting.

Qualifications
  • Please only apply to ONE Victor Internship position
  • Current Juniors receiving BA with an expected graduation date between December 2023 or May/June 2024
  • Preferred Majors: Marketing, English, Psychology, or a related discipline.
  • Overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
  • Experience with a marketing automation tools
  • Experience with a content management system preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret data and information.
  • Ability to write articles and promotional materials that conform to prescribed style and format.
  • Is a strong independent worker but also a collegial team player
  • Candidates will be required to submit work samples.
  • Applicants must have legal work authorization in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
