Speech Language Pathologist - Clinical Fellowship

At the Center for Pediatric Therapy, speech language pathologists help infants and children with a variety of diagnoses, illnesses, and injuries improve their overall well-being and increase effective communication. Speech language pathologists are responsible for evaluating, creating, and implementing individualist and holistic plans of care in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. We are looking for a speech language pathologist clinical fellow to join our amazing team of highly experienced therapists. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Work a minimum of (3) 8-hour scheduled days in outpatient clinic (Full-Time)
  • Perform initial evaluations and create individualized plan of care for patients 
  • Carry out individualized plan of care and communicate with caregivers of patients for effective follow through with home exercise programs
  • Monitor patients' progress and adjust plan of care accordingly
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to provide holistic treatment to each patient
  • Refer patients to other disciplines/services when treatment falls out of the scope of practice of a SLP
  • Maintain updated licensure through appropriate amount of continuing education

 

Qualifications

  • Appropriate degree requirements depending on the position - CF-SLP
  • IN Licensure
  • **Pediatric experience is preferred, but not required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive attitude and willingness to help others
