Transactional Entertainment Law Paralegal

We are a busy, boutique entertainment law firm in midtown Manhattan with an immediate opening for a transaction paralegal who will:

*Handle state and federal compliance filings for various securities offerings

*Assist and actively liaise with attorneys and clients in connection with the creation and dissolution of entities, assignment of interests, and the creation and maintenance of various records related thereto

*Assist attorneys in the drafting, proofing and editing of agreements and other documents

*Analyze and process royalty statements and corresponding distributions

*Assist with copyright filings and registrations

*Generally support our transactional law practice

The successful candidate will be a self-starting, highly organized, detail-oriented individual with excellent written and verbal professional communication skills and follow-through and will have a kind nature, and enjoy a communitarian, in-person work environment. While paralegal experience or training is optimal, we are open to various levels and types of experience.

An interest in working as a member of a team, as well as in the disciplines of theatre, publishing, film and television and/or related entertainment fields, is also required.
