Camera Person and Boom Operator/Sound at Hyperfex, LLC 

A unique hands on opportunity for degree seeking students, recent graduates and students seeking internships to bring creative energy and skills to assist the production workflow for various film projects. Camera and Sound credit will be given for each film project. This will be your opportunity to show an audience your own brand of creativity. 

While it is critical that an Camera Persons and Boom Operators are passionate about all aspects of film making, they must also possess the following skills and knowledge:

Camera Person:

To create the appropriate look within the camera frame for a multitude of specific film situations, the AC will be responsible for the following:

- Help the DP run multiple cameras for scenes requiring multiple camera set ups
- Read scripts to assess the needs of each set up
- Work well with the DP
- Responsible for keeping the camera in focus as it is shooting 
- Building the camera at the beginning of the day, taking it apart at the end of the day
- Helping to give cinematic value to a digital platform 

Boom Operator/Sound:

Ensure that on-set sound is clean and well leveled.

- Proficient in boom and lav placement
- A steady technique to make sure that boom rattle, static electricity is kept to a minimum
- Maintaining audio equipment
