Position Overview 

This position will help support the retention and engagement strategy for our Stanley1913.com business in both US and Canada. You will partner closely with the direct-to-consumer Retention Manager to work cross-functionally in bringing new and exciting consumer programs to life. You will also assist in executing the day-to-day communication to consumers through email, SMS, as well as onsite. This position offers candidates a unique opportunity to experience how our ecommerce team partners with Creative, Marketing, IT, and Customer Service to create a premium online experience for our consumers.  

 

The internship is a 12-week commitment running from either June 3rd – August 23rd, or June 17th to September 6th. This is a hybrid role with expectations of coming into the office about 2 - 3 times a week.   

 

What You'll Do 

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to support the implementation of a new consumer program by effectively communicating strategic insights, executing creative briefs across all channels, and diligently managing timelines. 
  • Help manage and execute the email and SMS plan by ensuring alignment with new product launches and campaign narratives to maximize storytelling. 
  • Create a scalable strategy and process that enables always-on content and assets to be refreshed on a regular cadence, focusing on seasonality, business objectives and/or trends.  
  • Provide analysis and insights of key performance metrics for email and product launch campaigns that can be communicated and leveraged across the team.

  • Comfortable bringing ideas and solutions to the team    
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills  
  • Comfortable and confident learning new technology 
  • Be adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment 
  • Familiarity of digital marketing and passion for online commerce a plus 

 

Education and Experience 

  • Junior or Senior year of degree in business at accredited university  
  • Ability to work from our Seattle office 25-50% of the work week 
  • Proficient with Microsoft office suite with emphasis on excel and PowerPoint.  
  • Experience with Smartsheet preferred

Salary

$25 hourly

The base pay for this position is for a successful candidate within the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on multiple factors, such as work location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and experience.
